Good news: I didnt have as bad of side effects this time! I didn't swell as much (my pants still fit yay!) only problem was throwing up right after I took the Gonal shots. I had my appt yesterday and he said I had 4 eggs kicked out this time and my uterine lining was great! So we have a really good chance this time again. I had some fluid behind my uterus from the meds but nothing too bad. My ovaries were even enlarged but he tried touching them with the probe and it didn't hurt at all :). He said to check my breasts and if I have any tenderness at al then it's a pretty good sign. Of course after he said that they felt tender buuut pretty sure that was in my head! Haha! Only bad thing is I started cramping about 30 min ago but hopefully it was just stress or something and not period cramps. We will take a test Tuesday or Wednesday (more than likely tuesday) to know for sure!

Ok time is up! It's been 48 hrs since the shot so hopefully it happened. Now we get to wait for a couple of weeks. I go in to see the dr Tuesday but it's just to check and make sure I ovulated and my ovaries are ok. All we can do is wait and pray! Maybe it worked this time.
New side effect this time I'm assuming with the hcg shot. I'm soooo moody! I cry one second and am furious the next! Of course happy is mixed in but I feel like a crazy person! I know everyone keeps telling me to get ready because it's only going to get worse when we do get pregnant but it sucks having to go through it without knowing if a baby is at the end for now! :) other than that the swelling so far has been minimal so I can still fit into my clothes they just are not completely comfortable. Now we get to play a game I am not good at: The Waiting Game!

I took the ovulation test this morning like my doctor asked but it came back negative. That just meant I have not ovulated on my own yet, which is ok. They gave me 2 hgc (I think) shots to induce ovulation and from that point we have a window of 24-48 hours of getting pregnant.
Upside- Yay!! Another chance!!
Downside- My stomach is already starting to swell. I am not uncomfortable yet but pretty sure the rest of the week I will be wearing the amazingly comfy sundresses mom sent me! They will be life savers. So what if I wore them last week!
We will go back in a week (next Tuesday) for him to look at my ovaries to make sure there is not too much swelling and the cysts are not big enough to burst. At least I know it is not hard at all to lose the "weight" I gain during this week. Last time I gained 10 lbs and lost 10 so hopefully it will be the same. Not that weight is a big deal at all. I just want to be able to fit into my dress for Joy's wedding in a month! =)

Had my appt today! We get another chance this month! I have 2 good size eggs, one at 25 mm and another at 22, then a third at 20 but he is not expecting anything with that one. I have to take an ovulation test tomorrow morning and call him with those results. Then he said more than likely tomorrow I would go in for the shot to induce ovulation! This was a quick month! The shots made me feel horrible but I will definitely take them in my stomach again if it doesn't work this month...Not sure if I finally responded well or injecting closer to the ovaries helped but it is worth the sickness. He didn't want to give me the shot this early, so is waiting till tomorrow. I am just shocked and happy that we actually do not have to wait a few months to try again!! Yay!

I started the Clomid on Friday and Femara Sunday...they are having me take the Femara twice a day instead of once. Then I start the Gonal shots on Thursday! I am thinking about taking them in my stomach this time. I did it with the pen he ordered for me after the shots and the med did not hurt at all when it was injected! I know it could have worse side effects for stomach problems but really I think it would be worth it. Plus, my mind is thinking that in my stomach is of course closer to my ovaries so doesn't have to go through my entire body so may work better...seems reasonable to me. =) I just don't want to wait a few months for everything to grow again! I liked having our chance.
Last month I didn't have any effects but so far I started to feel annoyed more often. Especially with my students which isn't fair. Normally I can at least take a breath and ignore it knowing it is more me than them. Only a few more days of it though so it will be over soon! I will go back to the doctor on Monday to find out how well they grew this time!

Now for the bad news..

If you aren't comfortable with girly stuff....stop reading this note =)

So Monday morning I noticed I was bleeding a tiny bit but it wasn't anything close to normal. I called my dr and the nurse said that I might be getting ready to start my period and to call them if it got worse....Tuesday was the same thing until that night. Normally within the first few hours everything is fully going when it comes to my period. Last night I noticed there was a definite increase to the point that I had a very bad feeling this cycle didn't work. So I cried with Jacob when I got in bed...I know he felt bad and didn't know what to say but he did great and made me feel better!
Anyway, this morning it was obvious that I had started so I called this afternoon and described it to the nurse. She said it is definitely my period and she is calling in my medicine to start up again. I start taking it on Friday and am treating today as day 1.
Facts aside...I was miserable all morning. I kept having so many emotions go through me I felt crazy. I was sad, angry, indifferent, and confused over and over. Sad because...well the obvious. Angry because although I know it is not "our time" I am starting to hate that term because it certainly is not the time in any pregnant teenager's lives so why can't it be in ours? Then I felt...nothing weird huh? I guess I just needed to give my emotions and heart a break and acted like it was just any other day, not one that tore me apart. Finally I was confused because a part of me didn't want to believe it. My mom researched and found that lots of women bleed a little when they first get pregnant so I hoped that was me....So of course I wanted to hold onto that. I had always heard that as well so it didn't surprise me.
Then all of a sudden I realized that this was our first "real" chance so we have already made huge gains. For 5 months I didn't have an egg even close to big enough. Now I had 2 maybe more that had a chance. So I felt a little better. Now that I have talked to Jacob, my mom, and friends about it I feel even better...Still disappointed but I also know it will happen one day.
